ORMSKIRK COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP has given pupils in the
Ormskirk and Aughton
Primary Schools, the
chance to win a gingerbread ceramic model specially printed with the child’s
own design!
Entry sheets were distributed to the schools and the completed entries
were collected on Monday 23 June.
Here’s What The Children had to Do......
·
Each child created their own
design which is special to them. It may
be something to do with their school, their family or Ormskirk itself. ·
The design was drawn on the
gingerbread outline on the competition sheet. ·
The design could be coloured-in
or treated as a simple collage. ·
The entry forms were then be
returned to the children’s primary school.
One winning design was selected from each of the
seven schools and, in September, the winning child in each school will receive: A SIX
INCH HIGH CERAMIC
GINGERBREAD MODEL DECORATED
WITH THEIR WINNING
DESIGN!
An additional
model will be presented to each child’s school and a third copy of the winning designs will go forward to the next stage of the
competition.
Further details
of the next competition will be available in the Autumn term but, as one Head
Teacher said, “This will be the exciting bit!”

Judging took place
on 30 June and at the Prizegiving the children received a framed copy of their winning design.
